The opportunity
Rivers Christian College set out to establish its first purpose-built campus in Inverell to support growing demand for Christian education in the region. The project required delivery within a compressed timeframe to meet strict registration deadlines and enable student intake for the 2026 school year. This created a need for clear coordination, early compliance alignment, and a delivery approach that reduced programme risk while maintaining quality outcomes.
How we helped
Coverite Projects operated as a full-project partner, aligning design, compliance, and construction from the outset. We established strong site management processes early, including trade coordination, safety systems, and consistent progress reporting to maintain visibility across all stages.
Our team prioritised critical path activities to support registration, including civil works, essential services, and building completion. Proactive planning and sequencing allowed works to continue despite earlier weather impacts, while maintaining programme certainty. A disciplined approach to safety and compliance ensured all personnel, plant, and documentation met requirements prior to and throughout construction.
Project Delivery
Stage 1 of the Inverell campus is now complete, registered, and fully operational, with students successfully welcomed at the start of the 2026 school year. Delivered within a condensed construction programme, the project achieved all regulatory milestones and was completed on time. Delivered in partnership with SHAC Architects, this $6–9 million greenfield development provides contemporary primary learning spaces, administration facilities, and complete site infrastructure.
The campus is now in active use and supports the immediate and long-term needs of the Inverell community. This project reflects a clear and outcome-focused delivery approach, providing certainty for our client and a strong foundation for future growth.
