Introduction:
Situated in the close-knit community of Bulahdelah, NSW, the town’s aged care facility has long been a place of connection and care for local residents. Following its closure in 2022, Coverite Projects was re-engaged by long-term client Stroud Lodge to lead a full refurbishment and modernisation of the facility. The project will deliver upgraded rooms, private ensuites, and warm, nature-inspired interiors, restoring an essential service and creating a welcoming, contemporary environment for residents and staff.

Bringing Bulahdelah Community Lodge Home
Bulahdelah Aged Care Facility has long been at the heart of its local community, and since its closure in 2022, residents have needed to relocate for care. Coverite Projects has been engaged by long-term client Stroud Lodge to deliver a full refurbishment and modernisation across both levels, converting shared bathrooms into private ensuites and drawing on Bulahdelah's natural surrounds to create interiors that reflect the warmth and calm of the region. Marking our third collaboration with the Stroud Aged Care Board, we also supported a successful $2.6 million grant application to help bring this redevelopment to life. Construction is now underway, set to restore a high-quality, locally connected aged care facility the Bulahdelah community can once again call home.
