Once Pioneer House had made the decision to undertake a refurbishment it was very important to us to find the right company to assist us in the project.

We wanted a company who understood resident and staff needs within an aged care facility and could tailor a design to meet those needs.

After initially contacting Coverite Projects in August 2016 to discuss our refurbishment plans we engaged Coverite to carry out a full design and refurbishment of our facility. The project involved the Design and Delivery of 16 Bedroom and Bathroom Refurbishments in our dementia secure unit, common area refurbishment, including resident library, resident lounge, dining room, corridors & store rooms.

Being a community based Not-For-Profit organisation we receive a great deal of community support. To be able to use local trades and suppliers where ever possible allowed Pioneer House to demonstrate our appreciation and desire to maintain a strong commitment to our local community. Coverite understood this commitment and worked with Pioneer House to make this happen.

Coverite’s all-inclusive service, from Concept Design right through to project handover saved us considerable time and costs due to not having to engage with separate Architects, Designers and Builders to pull it all together. Having one company take the project from concept through to occupancy allowed the project to be seamless and the responsibilities clear with the project being completed on budget and ahead of schedule. Coverite have provided a finished product that that is practical but focused on comfort and visual appeal.

Coverite provided full professional photography of the refurbishment allowing us to advertise and market our beautifully refurbished rooms, bathrooms and common area to the local and surrounding community.
