Planning for Growth at Maitland Christian School
With space becoming limited and enrolments rising, Maitland Christian School needed practical ways to optimise its campus while preparing for the future, including relocating temporary GLA buildings, refurbishing key student bathrooms, and developing a Masterplan to guide the next phase of development. Coverite Projects partnered with SHAC Architects to create a future-focused master plan, leading design, compliance, consultant coordination and council engagement to give the school clarity and budget certainty as the project progresses. Stage 1 has strengthened our ongoing partnership with the school, secured a clear pathway to support enrolment growth into 2026, and set the foundation for the next phase, including a new carpark and additional GLAs due to begin in early 2026.
