Maitland Christian School Sports Facility

Located in a bushy corner of suburban Maitland, the school approached Coverite Projects to assist with the design and delivery of their outdoor sports courts facility which required complete resurfacing, new cricket net facilities, grandstand and weather protection. 

Coverite Projects worked very closely with the client and Greenline to design a barrel-vault canopy and matching cantilevered structure over both the sports courts and the adjacent new grandstand built into the topography of the site. 

The aim of the design was to draw upon the natural Australian bushland environment, retaining all trees on site and minimizing cut and fill while utilizing colours and materials that sit comfortably within the landscape.
